UK telephone calls, by category 1995-2002
This bar chart compares allocated different categories of telephone calls such as local, national, international and mobiles in the UK from 1995 to 2002. There was an increase in mobiles calls every year. Local calls reached a peak in the graph in 1999. It was 90 billions minutes of calls. Then that local calls fell gradlially from 90 to 70 billions minutes since 1999. From the graph, we can clearly see that mobile usage was increasing. Surprisingly, local calling penetration was decreasing. National and international calls are always average of total calls. In comparison, We can see that mobile calls had the highest jump was from 25 to 40 billions from 2000 between 2001. Last year, total of calls are highest per year.
